At the Haleakala national park temperatures can range from highs of 80 degrees to lows of 30 degrees. It stays pretty dry year round but rains can happen quickly during the rainy season which is from October to January. If you took a visit to he park here are some things that you should bring temperature wise; Layers, its can get really cold at the summit of the Haleakala so bring blankets and lots of layers. If you visit the coastal side of the park bring your bathing suit. It's a sunny and floral area with lots of great views with very hot and intense sun, so bring some sun protection. The best time to visit the park would be spring or summer. There is less rain and nicer temperatures. But, you would still have a great time visiting in the rainy season viewing the amazing views and capturing the sights of the volcano.
